RJB Southampton Hampshire offers a complete heavy machinery relocation service - from a single machine to complete
site relocation throughout the UK, Europe and worldwide.
RJB will be conscious of your production schedules for all machinery relocation projects, whether it is relocating a single machine or a multi machinery move. We will work to accommodate your deadlines. We are able to achieve this if necessary by working over weekends, doing night shifts or relocating during bank holidays.
When relocating machinery RJB are able to offer a full turnkey package, maximising their experience and removing any stress and worry that can be caused by the relocation.
Once the machinery becomes our responsibility, our removal team of experienced electrical & mechanical engineers study the audit notes to meticulously ensure all bases have been covered. Site services are isolated and disconnected and fixings and cables comprehensively recorded to ensure a smooth installation for the machinery relocationd.
Once in their new location, our engineers move the machines into a storage area. The audit notes are then used
to accurately determine the centre line and datums of the machines, along with the general footprint, using
laser equipment for optimum accuracy.
The machines are then methodically set in place and thee customer checks that the positioning is practical. Levelling, interconnections and site services are then carried out to allow you not to have to deal with additional contractors.
RJB believes that the devil is in the detail and that obtaining as much information as possible can ensure a smooth transition between locations. It is also essential to employ the correct equipment for the job. This may be a crane, a large 40 ton fork lift or a suitable vehicle.
We can provide an engineer to remain on site on all our relocation projects. This engineer is able to assist the customers' own team to fine tune the machinery, undertake tests and ensure a smooth relocation of all heavy machinery and equipment after the relocation has been completed.
